Non-pulley side of take-up roller (end pin CWA23 and end plug CWA26)
- Lower shade all the way down
- Remove the fabric from the take up roller by removing the fabric
clips
- If you are able to remove the old end pin easily simply tap new end
pin into end cap. If not, grip the end plug that holds the broken pin
with a pair of vice grips or channel lock pliers and work it
back-and-forth until it comes out of the roller tube. The end pin
can then be pushed out fro the back side.
- Tap new end plug and pin into roller tube, hang back on brackets and
replace the fabric and clips
Pulley side of the take-up roller (pulley kit replacement
(KW079-White or KW080 -Brown)
- Lower shade all the way down
- Remove the fabric from the take up roller by removing the fabric
clips
- Break off the pulley leaving the end pin and end plug in roller
- Grip the end plug that holds the broken pin with a pair of vice
grips or channel lock pliers and work it back-and-forth until it comes
out of the roller tube.
- Slide pulley kit with end plug into the roller tube and tap until
end plug seats. Hang roller tube back on brackets and replace the fabric
and clips.
Seal Roller (end pin CWA23 and end plug CWA26)
MODEL 100 (end brackets are 4"h X 5"w)
- Grip the end plug that holds the broken pin with a pair of vice
grips or channel lock pliers and work it back-and-forth until it comes
out of the roller tube. The end pin can then be pushed out from
the back side.
- Tap new end plug and pin into roller tube, hang back on brackets
MODEL 400 (end brackets are 6"h X 4"w)
- Lower shade all the way
- If you are able to remove the old end pin easily simply tap new end
pin into end cap. If not, grip the end plug that holds the broken pin
with a pair of vice grips or channel lock pliers and work it
back-and-forth until it comes out of the roller tube. The end pin
can then be pushed out fro the back side.
- Tap new end plug and pin into roller tube
